Description and Extent of Change:

Wireless Semiconductor Division (PL47) is substituting current 5x5 package composite material with this

LCP material. We have chosen AMMP-5618, AMMP-6408, AMMP-6120, AMMP-6220 & AMMP-6530

as qual vehicle.

Reasons for Change:

This change is makes to improve the lid cover supportability and cycle time. Appropriate qualifications are

being performed to ensure the performance and quality is comparable.

Effect of Change on Fit, Form, Function, Quality, or Reliability:

The new Lid cover still will not affect product electrical performance. Appropriate DC, RF

characterization and reliability qualification will be performed on the product to ensure continued electrical

parametric consistency and reliability.

Effective Date of Change:

The approximate date of completing the qualification report of the new Lid cover is end of March' 09. We

estimate to start shipping the 5x5 mmWave package with new lid cover starting early of May.

Qualification Data:

Characterization data of AMMP-5618, AMMP-6408, AMMP-6120 is available. Full qualification results

will be ready by March'09.
