Cable fittings
To route serial, Ethernet or sensor cables outside the enclosure, and maintain IP66 rating, the three
hole plugs can be replaced with cable grips, available in different diameters. These can be
purchased separately from Digi.
To wire sensors through cable grips:

Locate cord grip to attach sensor. Different diameter cord grips are available for different
sensors, please contact Digi for purchase.
Wire sensor to the 14-pin connector plug using the pinout guide provided in the enclosure or
in the pinout section on page 39. Up to 4 sensors can be wired into the 14-pin connector.
Make sure that all cord grips are tightened and all empty holes are plugged before use
to maintain environmental rating.
