**Proper operation of the device is guaranteed only within the ranges specified in this section. After
the device has completed power-up, VDDVARIO and the magnetics power supply must maintain their
voltage level with +/-10%. Varying the voltage greater than +/-10% after the device has completed
power-up can cause errors in device operation.
7.3
Power Consumption
This section details the power consumption of the device as measured during various modes of
operation. For each mode of operation, two tables are provided: one for operation of VDDVARIO (and
magnetics) at 2.5V, and the other for operation of VDDVARIO (and magnetics) at 3.3V. Power
consumption values are provided for both the device-only, and for the device plus Ethernet
components. Power dissipation is determined by temperature, supply voltage, and external source/sink
requirements.
