Reversing/Assignment
Contactor
Product Description
The Reversing/Assignment Contactor
is a double-pole, double-throw non-
load break definite purpose DC contac-
tor. A three-position center-off and a
two-position magnetically-latched
configuration is available. The device
is rated for 1100A, 1000V DC. The
Reversing Contactor includes cross
over bus bars for DC motor reversing
applications; the Assignment Contactor
omits the cross over bus bars for
motor assignment applications. (See
Figure 35-21).
Application Description
The Reversing/Assignment Contactor
was designed for the demanding envi-
ronmental requirements of Off High-
way Vehicle applications. This device
is also widely utilized with high horse-
power DC drives for DC motor revers-
ing and drive assignment applications.
