confi gure on the PC using the
PNOZmulti Confi gurator. The
graphics-based user interface
conforms to the Windows
standard; all elements are
available either as symbols or
in selection menus. Confi guration
of the elements is based on
therequired machine functions
and the category that needs to
be achieved. Online help with
documentation is available
during confi guration.
Confi guration rather than wiring
All inputs and outputs are freely
confi gurable and can be linked
using logic elements via a simple
drag and drop function. All avail-
able function, logic and output
elements are available to see at
a glance. Rapid commissioning
and the minimal wiring work
involved will convince you.

Doubly safe
Once the confi guration is
complete, the confi guration tool
checks the circuit for any errors.
The completed confi guration
can also be certifi ed, thereby
protecting it from unwanted
modifi cations. If the confi guration
has not been certifi ed, it can be
edited, modifi ed and extended
at any time by calling it up in
the Confi gurator. The completed
confi guration can be printed out
and used as documentation.
Maintenance is simple with
the PNOZmulti service tool
The PNOZmulti service tool
is specifi cally used for trouble-
shooting and diagnostics during
service and maintenance, directly
on the machine for example.
The current status of the confi g-
uration is visible during operation
(powerfl ow).
Any options that can be used to
modify a project are disabled.
