PCI Express Power Interface
Power can be sourced to the board via the PCB edge-fingers (CN1 and CN2). This interface allows the user to pro-
vide power from a PCI Express Host board.

A programming header is provided on the evaluation board, providing access to the LatticeECP2M JTAG port.

ispVM Download Interface
J3 and J11 are 8-pin JTAG connectors used in conjunction with the ispVM USB download cable to program and
control the device. These connectors are available through the back-panel bracket as needed for x1 or x4 PCI
Express configurations. These connectors are used in conjuction with the ispVM programming cable and software
to program the configuration memory or FPGA directly.

After initial board setup, use the following procedure to program the evaluation board. Instructions assume ispVM
software has been installed on a local PC.
Connect the ispDOWNLOAD cable rainbow colored flywires to the connector J3.
