C121C021, this address is configured by the ADR0 and ADR1 addres selection inputs. For the ADC121C027, the address is

1.8 ALERT FUNCTION
The ALERT function is an "out-of-range" indicator. At the end
of every conversion, the measured voltage is compared to the
