These variable rheostats are produced
Connection Details
using constantan (CuNi44) wire,
Single Tube,
wound onto ceramic formers, with
Series Connected
insulated wire to give mechanical
stability and good heat dissipation.
A leaf spring type wiper, with a
ceramic handle is used to vary the
resistance.
The resistors are protected with a
perforated, pressed steel cover and
three laboratory terminals are provided
so that the unit can be used as a series
resistor or potential divider.

environments.
