The SFSAP[31:0] bits represent the number of STS-N frames to be used to accumulate a BIP
error subtotal. The total evaluation window to declare an alarm is broken into 8 subtotals, so
this register value represents 1/8 of the total sliding window size. Refer to Section 13.16 for
the recommended settings.
