The path BIP error (PBIPE[15:0]) bits represent the number of path BIP errors that have been
detected in the B3 byte since the last accumulation interval. The error counters are
transferred to the holding registers by a microprocessor write to the RHPP Counters Update
register (Address 203H, 283H, 303H, 383H). The TIP output indicates the transfer status.
