READ ID Operation
90h

The READ ID (90h) command is used to read the 4 bytes of identifier codes programmed
into the devices. The READ ID command reads a 4-byte table that includes manufac-
turer ID, device configuration, and part-specific information. (See Table 10 on page 27.)
Writing 90h to the command register puts the device into the read ID mode. The com-
mand register stays in this mode until another valid command is issued (see Figure 20).
