Description of Change:

Due to supplier closings, equipment age, and environmental restrictions, Sharp is ending the production of several LCD

Driver ICs. No alternates exist.

Effect of Change:

Production is being discontinued for the LCD Driver ICs noted above. No alternates exist.

These part numbers will move to a category “D” (Discontinued) classification effective immediately.

Upon receipt of this notice distributors will have the option to return parts that are in stock, provided the product was not

category type “C” (Non-changeable, Non-Refundable) when ordered. Product must be in either factory sealed or Sharp

warehouse sealed boxes, as per the terms of our agreement. Requests must be received within 60 days of receipt of this

notice.

Suggested Alternate Parts and/or Manufacturers:

Customers must notify Sharp Microelectronics of the Americas in writing 90 days before the last buy date if they consider

the discontinued product to be “Single Source”. Sharp Microelectronics of the Americas and the customer may negotiate an

appropriate End-of-Life Agreement.
