to conform to a variety of
shapes, providing
dependable insulation.
Heat-shrinkable end caps
insulate wire or cable
terminations, providing
protection from dust
and dirt. End caps with
adhesive or encapsulant
lining also provide
protection from moisture
because the lining,
when heated, melts and
flows to fill surface
irregularities of the
substrate.
