Designed to provide
environmental sealing for
a range of substrates, at
elevated temperatures.
Manufactured by Tyco
Electronics from radiation-
crosslinked polyolefins,
the inner wall melts when
heated and is forced into
interstices by the shrinking
of the outer wall so that,
when cooled, the substrate
is encapsulated by a tough,
protective moisture barrier.
An operating range of
-55˚C to 125˚C [-67˚F
to 257˚F] and a high shrink
ratio as standard, mean
that the tubing offers
superior environmental
protection to a wide range
of irregular shapes with
varying dimensions. The
jacket is flame-retardant to
reduce flame propagation.
