Amplifier Designs for 1.9 GHz and
900 MHz
The same design process used for
the 2.5 GHz amplifier above was
repeated for the design of amplifi-
ers for the 1.9 GHz and 900 MHz
frequency bands. Example
circuits were built using the same
PCB layout as used for the
2.5 GHz amplifier. The schematic
diagram, component values, and
assembly drawing for the 1.9 GHz
and 900 MHz designs are shown
in the “Summary of Example
Amplifiers“ section.
1.9 GHz Amplifier Measured
Results
Performance of this amplifier is
summarized in Table 3. The PAE
is 41%.
