file (.PRM) and customized setup file (.SET) that were used last are read, and their setting contents are
displayed. On the [Setup…] menu, settings can be changed in accordance with the user environment, except
for the parameters that are dimmed. In addition, new settings can be saved to the customized setup file (the
data of the parameter file cannot be changed).
(a) Parameter file and customized setup file
The parameter file and customized setup file have the setting information necessary for rewriting the flash
memory of the target device.

• Customized setup file
This file stores the timing and parameter data necessary for rewriting the flash memory of the target
device. Do not change the data of the parameter file as it guarantees the rewrite data.
The parameter file is protected by a checksum. If the checksum is illegal, the PG-FP4 does not accept
the parameter file.
Save the values of settings that have been made in accordance with the user environment to the
customized setup file after downloading the parameter file. The customized setup file saves the settings
of the [Setup...] menu, including the corresponding parameter file name, so that a new environment can
be set by downloading the customized setup file when the environment is started next time.
The [Setup…] menu is used to perform flash memory writing settings in accordance with the user
environment, and command option settings. Each time the GUI software is started, the parameter
