The light polling demo is the software initially mounted onto any development kit deliv-
ered to customers. Its development is such that it ensures the demo is reliable without
having to make any adjustments.
The master unit sends the requested frame several times, then switches to reception
mode while waiting for an answer. The slave unit scans the radio activity once every 2
seconds and responds to any valid request.

Bi-phase coding is used to simplify demodulation (one transition per bit). Thus, any
mounted RF module can fit.
The Data Slicer reference level is set to external.
The data throughput is set to 4.8 kbps, for a maximum physical baud rate of 9.6 kbps.
RF211 radio modules with either a narrow IF2 filter for high selectivity or no IF2 filter
can fit.
Fixed digitally selectable frequencies are incorporated:
– For Europe: 433.5 or 868.3 MHz
– For the USA: 915 MHz
