To install your Mini Tracking Pad Model 210, complete the following steps.

1. Go to www.3m.com/rfidtools.

2. Click RFID Reader Driver Install Tool.

3. Plug the Mini Tracking Pad Model 210 into an available USB port on your computer using the cable provided.

4. Click RFID Reader Demo Tool.

5. Click RFID Reader Protocol Spec.

This application installs the required drivers on your computer.

The hardware connects with the drivers (this may take a few moments). The reader pad lights turn on when the

reader is ready to use.

Use this application to connect to and test the RFID reader pad.

To use the Demo tool, your system must meet the following requirement:

• Microsoft® Windows XP, Service Pack 2

• Microsoft® Windows Vista®, Service Pack 1

This document contains the information required to begin developing software for the reader.
