LAN & Modular Cable Tester
This tester is designed to quickly read the
correct pin configuration of 10/100 Base-T
Cable (Cat 5/5E/6), 10 Base-2 Cable (coax),
USOC RJ-45/RJ-11 Modular Cables, 356A,
EIA/TIA-568A/B and Token Ring cables. With
the remote terminator it can test cables
installed up to 1,000 feet away through wall-
plates and patch panels. It features auto or
manual scan with pin-out LED indicators, it
verifies cable continuity, opens, shorts, and
reversed pairs, and it can check the cable
ground. In addition, a power switch is
provided for conserving battery power, and it
comes standard with a handy carrying case.
