The tape and reel cover tape for Bourns® MF-SM, MF-SM/250 and MF-SMHT series is being changed to the new

3M™ Universal Cover Tape (UCT). The UCT is an innovative cover tape with design features that address peel

variation allowing removal of the center section only, above the component pockets. The cover tape edges remain

adhered to the carrier. The introduction of UCT is intended to improve the cover tape sealing quality.

Additional Information:

• This change is effective December 1, 2010 with product date code “V0”.

• The dimensions of the tape and reel are not affected by this change.

• The MF-SM008/250-2, MF-SM013/250V-2, MF-SD/250 Series are not affected by this change.
