IMPORTANT NOTE: Sealed Connectors
A sealed receptacle has an O-Ring seal that blocks moisture when the plug
and receptacle are mated. However, the receptacle is not sealed in an
unmated condition. For protection, dust caps are recommended for unmated
receptacles, see page 24.
Plug connectors using a sealed cable clamp (see page 25) with jacketed cable
will meet IP65 when mated to a sealed receptacle.
