Data Sheet
Scotch
glass tape with a high-tmeperature thermosetting
silicone adhesive. It has been designed for use in
600-volt dry location applications requiring both
high mechanical strength and resistance to high
temperatures. The thermosetting adhesive provides
an increased bond, once applied in areas of high
ambient temperatures. This tape has a class "H"
180˚C (356˚F) temperature rating.
Product Description
Meets requirements of:
• Military Specification No. MIL-I-19166C
• UL Recognized Component listing for 200˚C
• CSA Accepted Component 180˚C file LR93411
Applications
• Insulating electric and induction type furnace
• Securing high-temperature, non-PSA insulation
• Securing Scotch
• Replacing Scotch
• Splicing wire that is rated 150˚C (302˚F), 180˚C
• Reinsulating and repairing coils on mining machines
• Reinforcing insulation in electrical installation
• Splicing silicone-covered glass wire where splices
