Voreinstellung der Ausgangswerte (Preset)
Um die Ausgangswerte voreinzustellen, ohne daß der
Ausgang aktiv ist, gibt es die Preset-Funktion.
Mit Hilfe dieser Funktion kann der sich Anwender die Werte
von Ausgangsspannung, Ausgangsstrom und Überspan-
nungsschutz (OVP) anzeigen lassen und einstellen.
Analogschnittstelle
Die Analogschnittstelle befindet sich auf der Frontseite
des Gerätes. Sie verfügt über analoge Steuereingänge mit
0...10V oder 0...5V um Spannung und Strom von 0...100%
zu programmieren.
Ausgangsspannung und Ausgangsstrom können über
analoge Monitorausgänge mit 0...10V oder 0...5V ausge-
lesen werden. Weiterhin gibt es einige Statuseingänge
und Ausgänge.
Optionen
• Die Geräte der Serie PS 8000 T können mit verschie-
denen digitalen Schnittstellen, RS232, CAN, USB, GPIB
(IEEE) oder Ethernet (auf Anfrage) per PC gesteuert
werden.
Für diese Schnittstellen steht ein Steckplatz auf der Rück-
seite der Geräte zur Verfügung, so daß sowohl ein Nach-
rüsten als auch ein Wechsel der Schnittstellen problemlos
möglich sind. Schnittstellen siehe Seite 45.

Presetting of output values
To set output values, without affecting the output condition,
a preset function is implemented.
With this function the user can preset values for the out-
put voltage, output current and overvoltage protection
(OVP).
Analogue interface
The connection for the analogue interface is located on
the front of the device. Analogue inputs are available here,
to set voltage and current from 0...100% in the voltage
ranges 0V...10V or 0V...5V
To monitor output voltage and current, analogue outputs
with voltage ranges from 0V...10V or 0V...5V can be read
out. Furthermore, several inputs and outputs are available
for controlling and monitoring the device status.
Options
• The power supplies of series EA-PS 8000 T can be
remotely controlled by a computer via isolated digital in-
terfaces like RS232, CAN, USB, GPIB (IEEE) or Ethernet
(upon request).
The interface slot is located on the rear panel, making it
easy for the user to plug-in a new interface or to replace an
existing one. For the choice of interfaces see page 45.
