Das MTM Power DIN-Schienen-Modul HSA50 wurde als universelle Kompaktstromversorgung spe-

ziell für den Einsatz unter rauhen Umgebungsbedingungen konzipiert. Über die bewährten Standard-

features hinaus bietet dieses Gerät für die Anwendungen im Schaltschrank zusätzliche technische

Optimierungen. Die Gestaltung des Gehäuses vergrößert die wärmeabgebende Oberfläche des

Gerätes und führt in Kombination mit dem hohen Wirkungsgrad zu einer optimierten Wärmeabgabe.

Dadurch bleibt das Gerät bei höheren Umgebungstemperaturen kühl und sorgt so für eine hohe

Betriebszuverlässigkeit. Für den Überlastfall wurde ein Regelkonzept angewendet, das selbst unter

schwierigsten Lastfällen sicheren Anlauf gewährleistet. Die Regelung läßt einen maximalen Über-

strom vom bis zu 1,6fachen Nennstrom bei sinkender Ausgangsspannung zu. Durch diese geneigte

U-I-Kennlinie wird sichergestellt, daß das Gerät im Überlastfall thermisch nicht zu stark bean-

sprucht wird und selbst bei regelmäßig auftretenden Überlastfällen keine Verringerung der Lebens-

dauer eintritt. Die Ausgangsspannung wird mittels serienmäßig eingebautem Power-Good-Signal

überwacht. Optional kann das Gerät mit der Möglichkeit zum Parallel- bzw. Redundanzbetrieb gelie-

fert werden. Diese Option ist ebenfalls mit den o. g. Zeichen erhältlich.

The MTM Power DIN rail module HSA50 has been designed as a universal compact power supply

for the use under rough environmental conditions. Further to the proven standard features, this

module offers additional technical optimizations for the use in switching cabinets. The case design

enlarges the heat dissipating surface of the power supply and in combination with the high efficiency

leads to an optimized heat emission. Thus, the device remains cool even with higher ambient

temperatures and provides therefore a high reliability. In case of overload, a regulation concept has

been used which ensures a safe start even under most difficult load cases. The regulation allows a

maximum over current of up to 1,6 times of the nominal current with decreasing output voltage. By

this bent U-I-characteristic curve it is guaranteed that the device is not too strongly stressed thermally

in case of overload and that even with regularly occurring overloads the life time is not reduced. As

a standard, the output voltage is monitored by a power good signal. The module can optionally be

delivered with parallel and redundancy operation. This option is also certified acc. to the a. m.

standards.
