LinkRunner Pro Network Multimeter link tester empowers technicians to resolve a broader range
of today’s connectivity problems. Unlike with traditional 10/100 link testers, LinkRunner Pro
verifies Gigabit links – increasingly important for today’s high-performance networks. It also
pings up to 10 key devices, detects Power over Ethernet (PoE), resolves 802.1X security conflicts,
verifies cable wiremap, and identifies the nearest switch port with Cisco, Extreme and IEEE Link
Layer Discovery Protocols (CDP/EDP/LLDP). Built-in IntelliTone digital toning precisely locates
cables at patch panels and switches. Link status reports can be uploaded from USB port and
routed with trouble tickets to expedite problem resolution.
