1. INTRODUCTION
This specification covers the requirements for application of the Fortis Zd pc board connector system used in
the aerospace and defense industry. The connector system provides an electrical connection between two
perpendicular pc boards using a modular concept.
When corresponding with personnel, use the terminology provided in this specification to facilitate your
inquiries for information. Basic terms and features of this product are provided in Figure 1.
