DSP56311EVM : DSP56311 Evaluation Module
The DSP56311 Evaluation Module (EVM) is used to demonstrate the abilities of the
DSP56311 device and provide a hardware tool to allow development of applications that
use the DSP56311. The DSP56311EVM includes a DSP56311 device, peripheral
expansion connectors, external memory, and a voice codec. The peripheral expansion
connectors allow for signal monitoring and user-feature expandability.
DSP56311EVM Features
The DSP56311EVM is designed for the following purposes: 1. To allow new user to
familiarize themselves with the features of the DSP56300 family architecture by exercising
the product feature set. 2. To serve as a platform for real-time software development,
including simulation routines, software download to on-chip or on-board RAM, software
running and debug with full speed operation and breakpoint capability, and the ability to
modify all user-accessible registers, memory, and peripherals though the JTAG/OnCE
port. 3. To serve as a platform for hardware development by providing connections for
external hardware, allowing reprogramming of any or all peripheral signals, and access to
all memory on the chip and on the board.
