Steel Padlock
Chain material – The chain is produced from special alloy steel material,
with precisely controlled trace elements of Boron and Manganese :
This alloy offers extreme stability during the case hardening process and
results in homogeneous distribution of hardness over the link surfaces,
thus retaining the highest grade of resistance to hammer and bolt cutter
attack.
The chain surface hardness is HRC 58 - 60 with the hardness extending
through 10% of the section.
The chain is passivated zinc plated yellow (gold).
