Bus bar mounting instruction

1. Safety precautions

Make sure that all connectors are completely disconnected from the mains before connecting the filter.

Assemble the earth line connector before connecting any live parts.

2. Cleaning

Remove the corrosion of any connector partially by cleaning the surface with a dry scrubbing pad. Do

not touch the cleaned surfaces afterwards by hand to prevent further corrosion. We suggest to wear

clean cotton gloves.

3. Assembling

Assemble the bus bars or wires according to the following sketches to ensure a reliable connection.

Please note: Ensure that the cross section of the supply lines are the same or bigger as the cross

section of the filter bus bars.

The recommended torque is based on a strength class of 8.8 (ISO 898-1). Any other screw type or

material needs to be checked by the installer.

4. Maintenance

We recommend checking the connections once a year or during a regular inspection whether to tighten

the screws is necessary. If there is any dust or liquids around the copper connection or on the isolation

plate, this area must be cleaned and dried.

5. Protecting covers

For additional safety we recommend to use the following protecting covers which are optionally available

as filter accessories.

* ..-28 = Screw lead-through M10 Max. torque: 18 Nm
