The new ISDN system phones elmeg CS300 and elmeg CS310 – suc-
cessors to the multiple award-winning elmeg CS100 – are setting new
standards in ISDN telephony. The well thought through and tried and
tested convenience functions make these system phones the first choi-
ce for ISDN system phones. Combined with elmeg ISDN PABX sys-
tems*, the elmeg CS300 and elmeg CS310 offer you the most advanced
and powerful system phones available with optimal transparency and
simple operation.
System Philosophy
Optimally matched to ISDN PABX systems of the C family*, the elmeg
CS300 and elmeg CS310 offer a variety of convenient functions that
you can assign to programmable keys to meet your specific needs.
Each key also has its own LED which indicates whether the assig-
ned function is currently active. The new elmeg DECT100, a
mobile terminal device, offers you even more convenience
and flexibility. A special follow-me function ensures that
all calls placed to the elmeg CS300 or
elmeg CS310 are automatically rerouted
to the DECT mobile unit as soon as
you take it out of its charging unit.
Intuitive Use
Four resp. six contextual softkeys enable easy access to all available
functions. Combined with their large, easy-to-read LCD display, use of
the elmeg CS300 and elmeg CS310 is self-explanatory, making the ope-
rating instructions almost superfluous.
Alphanumeric Phone Directory
If you haven’t memorized all your telephone numbers, or just simply wish
to dial faster, you can store up to 250 names and phone numbers as
your personal ”VIP” numbers. Programming can be made on the phone
itself, or easily at the PC with the phone directory tool that comes with
the phone. The elmeg CS300 and elmeg CS310 also have access to the
central phone directory of the PABX* that contains a further 1,000 alpha-
numeric entries.

7 LED-assisted VIP Keys
The seven VIP keys can be assigned important telephone numbers,
complex functions or even as line keys on two levels. The LED support
their corresponding status indicators. As a result, you always have eve-
rything in view, such as which extensions are currently busy, or you can
activate call rerouting or team membership with status indication at the
push of a button.
Boss/Secretary Function
A business function for all types of businesses, ideal for legal offices or
tax offices. If the boss does not wish to be disturbed, all calls made to
that number are automatically put through to the secretary’s phone. This
function is also signaled by an LED.

face with an RJ12 jack
Headset connection
Of course all elmeg system telephones are designed
for the professional use with a headset – simply con-
nect it and your hands are free during the call.
Computer Telephony Integration
using the TAPI Interface
Combining the elmeg CS300 or the elmeg CS310 with
the PC via the integrated RJ12 jack makes it easy for you
to use the most varying CTI applications. The Windows
software PC-Tel 3.0 included with the system makes
convenience calling via the PC a child’s play. Fully com-
patible with Microsoft’s TAPI™ standard, elmeg is setting
new standards for CTI!
Integrated, fully digital answering machine
(only elmeg CS310)
Don’t worry about cable spaghetti or not having enough sockets ever
again – the integrated answering machine of the elmeg CS310 has far
outdistanced other convenience systems when it comes to flexibility,
scope of functions and ease of use:
• Up to 25 minutes recording time
• Up to 10 different announcements, time-controlled
• Monitoring function
• Recording of ongoing calls
• Password-protected remote polling
• Recording period for messages can be limited to 30, 60
• Programmable notification for new messages (message forwarding)
• Ringing length can be set for each MSN
or 120 seconds

Included
Simple configuration and optimal use of the elmeg CS300/
elmeg CS310 is ensured by the elmeg WIN-Tools program that
is included with the system: Configuration software, phone
directory software, download manager and the PC-Tel 3.0 CTI
application. Consistent software interfacing guarantees a high
degree of transparency and optimizes use of the system for
your individual needs.
