External Input Circuitry
The sum of the lengths of the supply lines to the source or
to the nearest capacitor 100 F or to the nearest external
input filter which includes such a capacitor (a + b) should
not exceed 0.3 m (0.5 m twisted). An external input filter
(FP 38 or FP 80, see Accessories) is recommended in or-
der to prevent power line oscillations and reduce superim-
posed interference voltages. See also: Technical Informa-
tion.
