Take the following steps to program a byte of EPROM:
The erased state of an EPROM bit is zero. Erase the EPROM by exposing it to 15
Ws/cm
ultraviolet light source 1 inch from the EPROM. Do not use a shortwave filter.
Addresses $0F01–$0FEF contain the bootloader ROM, which can copy and verify
the contents of an external EPROM to the on-chip EPROM. See
BOOTLOADER
1. Apply 16.5 V to the IRQ/V
2. Set the LATCH bit.
3. Write to any EPROM address.
4. Set the EPGM bit for a time t
5. Clear the LATCH bit.
Windowed packages must have the window covered during
programming and operation.
