Finisar’s FTR-1519-V2 1550nm Extended GBIC transceivers have a maximum fiber
length of 80 km, and comply with GBIC Specification Revision 5.4
compatible with the Gigabit Ethernet standard as specified in IEEE Draft P802.3z/D5.0
and Fibre Channel FC-PH, PH2, PH3
also available via the 2-wire serial bus specified for Module Definition “4” GBICs. For
details, see Finisar Application Note AN-2025, “Using the Finisar GBIC I
Test/Diagnostics Port”
