3) 2.25v-2.75v Operation with COP8T Flash devices.
The COP8T flash family devices are designed to operate at full speed from 2.25v-2.75v max. It is not
necessary to change the 10MHz crystal, but the voltage regulator must be changed (or bypass the
regulator). The COP8T flash devices are not available in PLCC or DIP, so a package adapter must be
used. Package adapter information, and an application note on this subject, are available from National's
web site.
4) The following software programs are automatically installed from the enclosed CD. Updates
can be downloaded from National’s web site at www.national.com/cop8.
