Materials Change
The contact material of DIN 41612 Header Connectors which were offered earlier from FCI France and
now being supported from FCI India is being changed from Phosphor Bronze( Copper Alloy) to
Brass(Copper Alloy). This change will have no impact on the fit , form or function of the connector. Their
would also be no change in the part number of the connectors
To reduce the complexity of managing different copper strips and their corresponding piece parts, as
similar DIN 41612 Header Connectors were already being offered from FCI India site with Brass
Contacts. Prior to the transfer from France to India, FCI used to offer DIN 41612 connectors from two
manufacturing sites
