TRACEABILITY
This F1 extension on the designation of the switch (and F extension on the part number of the button)
guarantees 100% traceability for the customer. Please note the part number has been changed as well.
The customer can check on his order, on the acknowledgement, on the delivery note and on the
packaging whether it receives the version out of the old tooling (without F1) or the version out of the
new tooling (with F1 on the description).
PRICING
There is no pricing change, SPA keep their validity. If the Customer does not make any comment, we
consider that the customer wants the F1 version (1,3N).
IMPLEMENTATION OF NEW TOOL FOR THE D6 SWITCH
Starting in week 12, the switches will be delivered out of the new tooling.
The old D6 part number will be discontinued will be already in week 6 blocked for any new order.
The customer service will change the part on the position that will be delivered after week 12.
The version out of the old tooling (without F1) will be replaced by the version out of the new tooling
(with F1).
The customer will receive with the acknowledgement the information about the new tooling.
BUTTON EXCHANGE
If a customer has “old” buttons that he cannot use because he has received switches out of the new
tooling, customers are entitled to deliver us the “old” buttons back till 31.10.2007.
In order to avoid logistic pitfalls, the process of purchasing the new buttons is separated from the
process to receive a credit note for the return of old buttons.
AVAILIBITY OF THE OLD BUTTON
In order to allow customers to use their “old” D6C switches, ITT will still accept (for most colors)
orders for the old D6 button till 31.10.2007. After this date the old D6 buttons (without F) will be
discontinued.
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NEW VERSION BY THE BUTTON
Customer Service has to check with the customer whether those buttons are for the “old” D6 switch or
for the new D6 switch. If it is for the old D6 switch the order has to be placed on the old D6 button.
If this is for the new D6 switch, the order has to be placed on the new D6 button reference.
STOCK HANDLING
No return of D6 switch out of “old” tooling will be accepted. The return of old buttons will be accepted
as described before

the Customer requests a RMA number by the Customer Service of ITT for the quantity of
buttons to be returned;
After reception by ITT of the returned buttons, the customer will receive a credit note
corresponding to the returned parts from its Customer Service Rep.
