Subject : Changing Red Epoxy to White Epoxy
Reason for Change : The red epoxy was discontinued by the manufacturer.
To Whom It May Concern :
This notification is being provided to C&K customers and distributors who receive the
following series from C&K:
8500 // 7000 // 8020 // 8600 // DM // E // ES // GP // GS // GT
Effect on Product:
There will be no effect to the form, fit, and function of these switches. The white
replacement epoxy is the same chemistry as the red and has a higher flammability rating.
The manufacturer discontinued the red epoxy necessitating the change. There will be a
noticeable change in color (red to white) at the terminal base.
