Guardsman™ ATA Tool Cases
with Wheels and Telescoping Handle
Platt’s rugged Guardsman™ ATA Case has now been designed and is available with a
telescoping handle and built-in wheels. The case has all recessed hardware,
locking provision, full-length piano hinge, literature pocket, two molded pallets
and foam in bottom for meters. 777TH comes with super-size pallets and the 788TH-
XGHXEH has over-sized pallets that are equivalent to three super-size pallets.
Guardsman™ ATA Tool Cases
Heavy-duty HMW polyethylene material with unique continuous industrial frame
both on the exterior and interior of case for maximum strength (ATA 300). Recessed
hardware, locking provision, full-length piano hinge, spring loaded handle
and security type bolts. Deluxe literature pocket in lid and two molded pallets. Foam
in bottom of case for meters.

Platt’s Patented Guardsman ATA Tool Cases are built to exceed the exacting
ATA shipping requirements. They have been tested and approved to ATA 300
specs.
They’re constructed from an ultra-durable (yet light-weight) HMW
polyethylene material with your choice of seven standard colors. They’re line
bent to assure uniform thickness and unsurpassed strength. By using polyeth-
ylene, these cases are up to 50% lighter than traditional wood transit cases, and
because they are bent instead of formed, all corners and edges are the same
thickness as the rest of the case, thereby eliminating the traditional weak spots
associated with other materials.
Polyethylene can be stored in any environment from -40
unaffected by all common industrial solvents. Plus, our bent aluminum
continuous framing system provides the ultimate in strength, and attractive
appearance. Our valance system has a gasket for water/dust resistance.
Platt uses completely recessed hardware which further resists damage in
transit and can be furnished with combination locks or key locks in the latches.
These cases are also available as a Jetalum
Platt’s Engineering Department will assist you in the design of your Guardsman
ATA case. Pallets and interiors can be customized to hold your selection of
tools.
