Fully equipped Termisafe provides quick installation
Hylec-APL, specialist supplier of electrical and electronic components, is launching a new surface mount junction box
supplied complete with terminal block, designed to provide convenience and safety for in-line connections. The compact
enclosure is supplied with a 3 pole terminal block and all the necessary screws and fixing hardware necessary to create
a quick & safe connection.
The new Termisafe connection from Hylec-APL is moulded from white UL94 V0 rated Polypropylene which makes it fully
flame retardant. The junction box's dimensions are 70mm x 40mm x 27mm ensuring that it is compact and unobtrusive
while still providing ample room to host a secure connection. The removable lid fastens with two screws to comply with
all safety regulations, while mounting is via through moulded lugs at each end of the Termisafe's base.
Unlike many similar products, the Termisafe is supplied with an approved 3 pole terminal block and all the necessary
fixing hardware required to make a connection. The terminal block is constructed from UL94 V0 Polyamide, has a max
rating of 24A / 450 V and is UL / VDE / IMQ approved. The connections are secured by screws with cable retention
provided via clamps within the box.
