2. Connect RCM2000 to PC
Connect the 10-pin connector of the programming cable labeled
RCM2000 module as shown in Figure 2 below. Be sure to orient the red edge of the cable
towards pin 1 of the connector. (Do not use the
serial connection.)

NOTE: Some PCs now come equipped only with a USB port. It may be possible to use
an RS-232/USB converter (Part No. 20-151-0178) with the programming cable sup-
plied with the RCM2000 Development Kit. Note that not all RS-232/USB converters
work with Dynamic C.
