Programmable displays are also called HMI (human-machine interfaces),
which communicate human intentions to the machine, communicate the
machine's status to humans, and await further instructions.
“More accurate, quicker, and easier operations”
Based on this very basic concept, Matsushita Electric Works GT series
programmable displays focuses on operator friendliness and easier
communication of information by machines (machine designers).
• GT link function
Up to 32 GT displays can be connected to one PLC unit without
communication programs. The same screen operation is
possible at a conveyor line or other remote locations, and the
number of PLC units can be reduced, cutting the production
process costs.

[Priority modes]
In display-priority mode, the update of displays, such as lamp indications,
messages, and data values, is prioritized. In control-priority mode, switch-on/off
operations and data value control are prioritized.
[Exclusive connection with PLC]
This function allows communications between the PLC and a specific GT
display only. The exclusive communication can be enabled at the proper timing,
and the response speed of the GT display can be prioritized, maintaining
communication quality as if in one-to-one connection.
Check the speed in the actual line. (Connection of four or less units is
recommended.)

The screen data upload operation can
be restricted by using passwords to

Up to 64 operators can set individual passwords, and up to 16 levels of
restrictions can be set on displays and operations for each part. The registered
users and passwords can be changed on the display panel.
