SCOPE
Content
This specification covers the performance, tests and quality requirements for the Tyco Electronics Right
Angle Stacked RJ45 with LED’s and Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability designed for intra-building
use only. The RJ45 Modular Stacked Jack With Integrated Magnetics and Integrated PoE integrates
new and existing technologies into a single connector unit that provides power compliant to IEEE
Standard 802.3af to devices through a standard RJ45 modular jack by sharing data contacts.
Qualification
When tests are preformed on the subject product line, procedures specified in Figure 1 shall be used.
All inspections shall be performed using the applicable inspection plan and product drawing.
Qualification Test Results
Successful qualification testing on the subject product line was completed on 10Apr07. The Qualification
Test Report number for this testing is 501-653. This documentation is on file at and available from
Engineering Practices and Standards (EPS).
APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
The following documents form a part of this specification to the extent herein. Unless otherwise
specified, the latest edition of the document applies. In the even of conflict between the requirements of
this specification and the product drawing, the product drawing shall take precedence. In the event of
conflict between the requirements of this specification and the referenced documents, this specification
shall take precedence.
