Founded in 1978, Micrel maintains a portfolio of world class wafer fabrication processes
that enable the Company to produce new products faster than the competition. The
Company uses, singularly or in combination, CMOS, Bipolar and DMOS technologies
in its analog products. With the acquisition of Synergy Semiconductor in 1998, Micrel
has high-speed bipolar capability in the form of ASSET™ (All Spacer Separated Element
