Description
The STEVAL-ISA058V1 demonstration board is a
5 W off-line power supply designed as an
evaluation platform for the VIPer17 offline high
voltage converter.
The VIPer17 features an 800 V rugged power
section, PWM control, two levels of overcurrent
protection, overvoltage and overload protection,
hysteretic thermal protection, soft-start and safe
auto-restart after fault condition removal. Burst
mode operation and the very low consumption of
the device help to meet standby energy saving
regulations. Advance frequency jittering reduces
EMI filter cost. A brown-out function protects the
switch mode power supply when the rectified
input voltage level is below the normal minimum
level specified for the system. A high voltage
startup circuit is embedded in the device.
