Two power options are available to the XStream-PKG-U RF Modem:
The external power must supply a DC voltage between 5 and 12 V. The power supply currently
shipped with MaxStream Development Kits is a suitable power supply for this option.
XStream-PKG-U RF Modem automatically selects “self-powered mode” if power is available on the
power connector when the RF modem is connected to USB. Do not disconnect the external power
source without first disconnecting the XStream-PKG-U RF Modem from the USB connector.
