barrier bags are designed to protect electronic items from moisture,

transportation, and storage. As required in ANSI/ESD S541, and as part
of the ANSI/ESD S20.20 ESD control program, barrier bags provide
protection from static discharge and are low charging.

Surface mount devices (SMD) are attached to circuit boards by reheating

JEDEC J-STD-033 for the dry packaging of
electronic devices. Dri-Shield 3000 bags are
made from dissipative nylon, foil, and
dissipative polyethylene. These bags protect
SMDs from moisture and static damage.

provides charge retention of less than 50 volts.
