The first time your software is executed, simply call the Initialize function to attach the software to a
chosen entity. Afterwards, a call to the Validate function when the program starts will determine
whether the machine or user is authorized to use the software and the active feature set selected.
If the DLP-D Security Dongle has been tampered with, a message will be displayed to the user, and
you can choose whether to exit the software, call for support, etc. If the user wishes to remove the
software, a single call to the Wipe function will remove licensing and (optionally) reformat the USB
device so that the software can be moved to a different location…all without a support call or any
network or Internet connection required.
