The LIN-UART control registers support the LIN-UART, the associated Infrared encoder/
decoder and the noise filter. For detailed information about the infrared operation, see the
Infrared Encoder/Decoder
Data bytes written to the LIN-UART transmit data register (see Table 71) are shifted out
on the TXD pin. The Write-only LIN-UART transmit data register shares a Register File
address with the Read-only LIN-UART Receive Data Register.
