P31 can be used as an interrupt, analog comparator input, infrared learning amplifier input,
normal digital input pin, and as a Stop Mode Recovery source. When bit 2 of the Port 3
Mode register (P3M) is set, P31 is used as the infrared learning amplifier, IR1. The refer-
ence source for IR1 is GND. The infrared learning amplifier is disabled during STOP
mode. When bit 1 of P3M is set, the part is in ANALOG mode and the analog comparator,
