MCF523x, Rev. 1.0
A[23:21] are muxed with CS[6:4] on the
MCF523x; Please note that the
MCF523x does not support E clock
functionality, which is used for
M6800-Type peripheral support.
These pins can be used as GPIOs on
the MCF523x if a 32-bit data bus is not
needed.
During bus transfers, external
devices can drive these signals to
indicate port width.
These signals are active even if the
bus transfer is to or from a
peripheral that is using one of the
chipselects
to terminate the bus cycle.
